Concealing Wires: One Key to A Professional Lighting Design
Often our design challenges are not about the lighting effect or the light fixtures themselves but are more related to disguising, hiding, tucking, burying and camouflaging electrical wires. When adding lights to porches, posts, rock walls, decks, and docks, it is essential to the final design that wiring is neatly tucked away. We recently created an outdoor lighting design where we were lighting a porch with beautiful white porch railings. We installed a powder coated white outdoor lighting fixture and neatly concealed all the wiring in copper tubing that we painted white. The look is seamless during the day, and the outdoor lighting effect is flawless at night.
